Chittagong is Bangladesh's second largest city and famous port city making it perfect for import export business. Most of the large industries of Bangladesh are situated in Chittagong. But i hadn't come for that. My aim was to visit the four parks this city is home to. My hotel for the night was the superb Hilton, highly recommended if you fancy in visiting this city. Shishu Park is visible from the hotel so I made that mt first stop. Before visiting the park I briefly visited ...................
I bought a entrance ticket for the park and started wondering around taking photos of the rides while the staff members started opening up the rides. Once I was done, I headed to the ticket office to purchase my ticket for the roller coaster. There was animated dialogue between the ticket seller and ride operator once they relised the coaster is what I wanted to ride. There was some head shaking and my driver was called to explain the situation. The end it was determined that they couldn't run the coaster as they need minimum of four people to ride the coaster. In a park that had one other couple with their daughter, I would have had to wait ages so I said I'll buy the four tickets for them to run the ride. They said that there are not four people in the park. I told them that my driver from Hilton hotel would ride plus two of the park employees would ride. They were cornered. We made our way to the coaster and in the end only myself and my driver rode. We didn't need the other two people to ride. I got many circles of the ride which was fine. After riding the coaster I headed for the exit and moved towards my next destination. Part of me wanted to go back to the ticket seller and ask for the refund but seeing how cheap the tickets were I just didn't think its worth the effort. Anyway I was on a high on riding the coaster that a few rupees seems worthless price to achieve the goal.
