Dream Holiday

Dream Holiday Park is another of my finds as is was previously unknown to the enthusiast community. The park is around an hour drive outside of Dhaka in the eastern direction. My driver took me on a single file road on the last twenty minutes of the journey passing by many small villages with local getting on with their daily rituals.

In Due course the narrow road opened up onto a bigger road that led to the the parks empty car park. I wasn't sure if the park was open or not as here was no activities happening around. I made my way to the pay desk and found someone who sold me a ticket to enter.

Once inside I found the park to be clean and well maintained. The main thing that stood out in the park is the wacky artwork and sculptures. The seem to be made by someone who has a twisted imaginasion.
Most of the rides looked to have been imported from china. The coaster on the other hand seems to have been imported from neighboring India. This coaster is one I had not previously seen on my travels. It looked like a love child of a Big Apple and Zylcone coaster.  After a slow climb of the lift-hill by the train that looks to be inspired from a Zamperla Dragon coaster,  to the highest point It rode the compact layout fairly well rapidly.

The haunted walk-though next door next to the coaster had Ice mountaineering theme to one part of the outside structure which was bizarre considering the other part and inside was traditional ghost house theming.

I walked around the rest of the park which was pleasant with plenty of greenery and picnic spots. At the front side of the park was a speed boat ride which looked interesting but it didn't open till later in the afternoon and I was in no mood to hang around a park that I had seen thoroughly and done everything I wanted. With that I left he peace and quiet of the park and walked back to the car to made my way back to the chaos of Dhaka.
